The Draft 2024 CAPER will be posted for review as of September 12, 2025. Hard copies will be available at the Planning & Development office, 367 Main Street, 3rd Floor, Hyannis, MA 02601 between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Public Comment Period
Written comments received on or before Monday October 6, 2025, will be included in the final submission to HUD. Comments can be submitted to the Planning & Development office or by email to Jim Kupfer james.kupfer@town.barnstable.ma.us with “CDBG CAPER Comments” in the subject line. Comments received during the meeting will be summarized in the final submission to HUD.
CDBG 5-Year CONSOLIDATED PLAN
The Town of Barnstable is currently in the process of finalizing its CDBG 5-Year Consolidated Plan (ConPlan) for FY26-FY30. A draft of the plan can be found at this link. Once the plan is finalized, the Town will release a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) to organizations seeking to obtain CDBG funds for projects that are consistent with the Town’s ConPlan
