As of October 1, 2006 a rental registration ordinance was put into effect requiring all property owners of rental units to register the property with the Town of Barnstable Health Division. This includes all Summer Rentals.

Submissions by mail: Use one form for each unit to be registered and return to the Public Health Division, 200 Main Street, Hyannis, MA 02601. Important: Include a copy of your submission, along with your payment.
There is a fee of $90 and $25 for each additional unit on the same parcel. The check should be payable to: Town of Barnstable.
Failure to comply with this Ordinance may result in the issuance of a non-criminal ticket citation in the amount of $100.
